i was in a super drawy mood today so i decided to draw two of my characters whoo

The purple one is Dulce-Malois Fandango, who insists upon being referred to by her full name at all times. She's a magician with an interest in demonic beings, curious as to why they value souls so highly. Out of a passion for MAGICAL SCIENCE she starts summoning them and leaves the gates of Hell wide open, inadvertently leading to contracts with demons becoming the latest wacky teen craze!! Kids these days.

While summoning a higher demon named Glaucio Deseronto her roommate Arleigh Spigelia (she's the one with the polka dots!!) interferes and accidentally binds herself to him, which makes DMF pretty irritated. She settles for another demon named Honne Tatemae, but isn't happy about it. To make things worse Arleigh's soul isn't cut out for greater demonic power, leading to her slowly growing mad and craving more.

Long story short, DMF and Arleigh proceed to wage war on each other as the world around them literally goes to Hell, neither of the two having much else in mind but their own interests. It's a pretty fun time!

I'm pretty happy with how this came out, honestly. It's the first time in a while I've drawn something and been like, "hey, that's pretty swell!", and that's pretty cool. There are still a lot of mistakes, of course, and don't get me started on that wacky background I just kind of doodled up. But I think I'm making progress, and that's what counts!

I really wanted to use a shading style like this: gyazo.com/45d6bd59945317865c8d… , so I tried it out and thought it was a lot of fun!

I may or may not end up expanding this picture a lot, but I figured I might as well upload it since my desire to draw wavers a lot. ┐(￣ー￣)┌
